Chamber of Manasi Bhushan, Advocates is a legal chamber based in North-West Delhi. The chamber provides interns with practical exposure to legal research, drafting, legal opinions, client meetings, court hearings, and field visits.
About the Opportunity
The Chamber of Manasi Bhushan, Advocates is inviting applications from eligible law students for an internship involving substantial practical responsibilities.
Interns will be expected to draft documents, conduct legal research, frame legal opinions, attend client meetings and court hearings, and undertake field visits whenever required. Interns may also be required to visit courts, government offices, and other locations across Delhi in connection with legal matters.
Interns are expected to demonstrate sincerity and dedication during the internship. Candidates interested in extending their internship may be considered for longer-term engagement based on satisfactory performance.
Duration
The internship will be for a minimum period of two months.
Mode
The internship will be conducted from the chamber.
Location
The internship will be based in North-West Delhi.
Working Hours
The working hours will be:
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Saturday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Interns are expected to report to court first in the mornings and thereafter report to the chamber.
Stipend
The stipend will be Rs. 2,500 per month.
Eligibility Criteria
- Fourth-year or fifth-year students of a five-year integrated law course.
- Second-year or third-year students of a three-year LL.B. course.
- Candidates should be willing to travel across Delhi for courts, government offices, and other legal matters.
- Candidates should be willing to travel through private vehicles or public transport.
- Interns are required to carry a laptop.
- Candidates should be sincere and dedicated towards the internship.
Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Research
- Conduct legal research as assigned.
- Research legal issues relevant to ongoing matters.
Drafting
- Assist with drafting legal documents.
- Frame legal opinions.
Litigation Support
- Attend court hearings.
- Visit courts across Delhi in connection with legal matters.
Client Coordination
- Attend client meetings.
- Assist with work relating to client matters.
Field Visits
- Visit government offices and other locations whenever required for legal matters.
- Travel across Delhi for assigned legal work.
Perks
Interns demonstrating satisfactory performance and willingness to extend their internship may be considered for long-term internships.
