About the Opportunity
LCMA Law Firm is inviting applications for a one-month offline training programme at its Zirakpur office. The internship is designed to provide practical exposure to legal practice and law firm functioning.
Interns will work on legal research, legal drafting, litigation, mediation, legal writing, case analysis, ongoing legal matters, and office work. The programme focuses on practice-oriented skill development through research, drafting, observation, and active participation.
Duration
The internship will be for one month.
Start Date
The internship will commence from October 2026 on a rolling basis.
Mode
The internship will be conducted in offline mode.
Location
The internship will be based at the LCMA Law Firm office in Zirakpur, Chandigarh Tricity.
Working Hours
The working hours will be from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.
Eligibility Criteria
- Law students enrolled in 3-Year LL.B. or 5-Year Integrated Law programmes.
- Students from any year of study.
- Genuine interest in litigation and practical legal work.
- Ability and willingness to attend the Zirakpur office for the full duration and prescribed working hours.
- Hardworking, disciplined, and eager to learn.
Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Research
- Conduct legal research as part of ongoing legal work.
- Assist with case analysis and legal writing.
Drafting
- Gain practical exposure to legal drafting.
- Assist with drafting-related tasks.
Litigation Support
- Gain hands-on exposure to criminal and civil litigation.
- Assist with matrimonial litigation matters.
- Observe and participate in practical litigation work.
Mediation
- Gain exposure to mediation practices and related legal work.
Case Management
- Assist with ongoing legal matters and office workflow.
- Contribute to case analysis and other practice-oriented assignments.
