About the Opportunity
upGrad School of Technology is inviting applications for a Legal Internship with its Legal Team. The selected intern will gain hands-on experience in commercial contracts and corporate legal functions while working on real-world legal matters.
The role will involve contract drafting, contract review, negotiation support, legal research, and collaboration with stakeholders.
Duration
The internship will be for a period of 180 days.
Mode
The internship will be conducted on a work-from-office basis.
Location
The internship will be based near Bommanahalli, Bengaluru.
Working Hours
The working hours will be from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
Stipend
The selected intern will receive a stipend of INR 10,000 per month.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should be law students in their pre-final or final year.
- Prior exposure to commercial contracts and service provider agreements is required.
- Candidates should have contract drafting and review skills.
- Candidates should have an understanding of contract law principles.
- Candidates should have excellent communication and analytical abilities.
- Candidates should have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Roles & Responsibilities
Contract Drafting and Review
The intern will work on contract drafting and review and gain exposure to commercial contracts and service provider agreements.
Legal Research
The role will involve conducting legal research in connection with corporate legal matters.
Negotiation Support
The intern will provide support during contract negotiations and gain experience in the contract lifecycle.
Stakeholder Collaboration
The intern will collaborate with stakeholders as part of the Legal Team’s work on corporate legal matters.
