HNM Legal Services is a law firm providing legal services, advice, and aid primarily in taxation, including Customs and Goods and Services Tax. Its practice also covers Central Excise and Service Tax Law, Import Export matters, Foreign Trade Policy, Free Trade Agreements, Trade Promotion matters, SEZ and EOUs, FEMA, Company Law, Banking Laws, and NCB-related matters.
The firm represents clients before the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT) and other quasi-judicial authorities.
About the Opportunity
HNM Legal Services is inviting applications for its on-site internship programme for September and October 2026 at its office near IGI Airport, New Delhi. The internship will provide practical exposure to legal proceedings, courtroom practice, and casework in Customs, GST, and other indirect taxation matters.
Duration
The internship will be for two months, covering September 2026 and October 2026.
Mode
The internship will be conducted in on-site mode.
Location
The internship will be based near IGI Airport, New Delhi.
Deadline
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
Eligibility Criteria
- Law students currently pursuing a 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated law programme.
- Preference will be given to final-year students proficient in legal drafting and interpretation of legal statutes.
Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Research and Drafting
- Drafting appeals, replies, and legal submissions.
- Working on Customs, GST, and other indirect taxation matters under expert supervision.
Litigation Support
- Gaining first-hand exposure to legal proceedings and courtroom practice.
- Assisting with live casework in Customs, GST, and other indirect taxation matters.
