KMCT Law College is affiliated with the University of Calicut and approved by the Bar Council of India. The college offers integrated BBA LL.B., B.Com LL.B. and three-year LL.B. programmes.

The institution promotes legal education through academic activities, moot court training, legal aid initiatives, seminars and other co-curricular programmes.

About the Seminar

KMCT Law College is organising a two-day national seminar on Reimagining Law in the Algorithmic Age – Power, Rights and Regulations.

The seminar will examine the changing relationship between law and technology, including the impact of artificial intelligence, algorithms and digital systems on governance, employment, healthcare, education, banking and social interaction.

The event will encourage discussion on privacy, accountability, fairness, human rights, cybersecurity, digital justice and responsible regulation of emerging technologies.

Submissions may broadly relate to the following areas:

  • Cyber Law, Cybersecurity and Emerging Digital Threats
  • Platform Regulation and Freedom of Expression
  • Human Rights in the Era of Predictive Algorithms
  • Labour Rights and Automation in the Digital Economy
  • Justice Delivery in the Age of Technology
  • Intellectual Property, AI-Generated Works and Authorship Rights
  • Freedom of Association, Expression and Algorithmic Content Moderation

Paper Submission Guidelines

  • The paper must be original and unpublished.
  • The abstract should contain 250–300 words.
  • Each abstract must include 4–5 keywords.
  • The full paper should not exceed 5,000 words.
  • References must follow the ILI citation style.
  • A maximum of two authors is permitted per paper.
  • The manuscript must be typed in Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing.
  • The similarity index should be below 10%.
  • Abstracts and full papers must be submitted through email.

Application Procedure

Interested contributors may submit their abstracts and full papers to kmctnationalseminar@gmail.com.

The abstract should be between 250 and 300 words and must include 4–5 keywords. The full paper should not exceed 5,000 words and must follow the prescribed formatting and citation requirements.

The last date for abstract submission is September 5, 2026. The full paper submission deadline is September 25, 2026.
