About the Journal on Corporate Law & Governance

The Journal on Corporate Law & Governance (JCLG) is published under the aegis of National Law University, Jodhpur. It is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to contemporary scholarship in corporate law and governance.

The Journal provides a platform for academicians, practitioners, researchers and students to engage with emerging legal, regulatory and policy developments in the corporate and commercial sphere.

About the Opportunity

The Editorial Board of JCLG is inviting submissions for Volume IX, Issue 2. The theme of the issue is Recalibrating Corporate Governance: Accountability, Private Capital, and India’s Evolving Corporate Law Framework.

The issue will explore contemporary developments and emerging challenges in corporate law and governance. The Journal welcomes original contributions that engage with the broad mandate of the issue.

  • Case Analyses.

Theme

Recalibrating Corporate Governance: Accountability, Private Capital, and India’s Evolving Corporate Law Framework

Sub-Themes

  • Valuation Practices, Fiduciary Standards and Regulatory Accountability in Private Credit.
  • Tactical Deal Engineering: Downside Protections and Board-Level Conflicts.
  • The Liquidity Mandate: Governing Exits, Recapitalizations, and Capital Returns.
  • The Corporate Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026: Decriminalization and Governance Recalibration.
  • Indian Private Equity: Navigating the Evolving Legal Landscape.

The sub-themes are suggestive and non-exhaustive. The Editorial Board also welcomes submissions on other relevant and contemporary topics within the broad mandate of the Journal.
