About the Opportunity
Neural Hub is offering a remote Legal Intern / Junior Legal Associate position for law students, recent law graduates and junior legal professionals interested in U.S. law, Intellectual Property, contracts, corporate law and technology law.
The selected candidate will support legal and business operations through legal research, intellectual property work, contract support, regulatory monitoring, documentation and general legal and compliance activities.
Mode
The position will be conducted in remote mode.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have an LL.B., J.D., or equivalent legal education.
- Current law students and recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge or academic exposure to the U.S. legal system is mandatory.
- Candidates should have a basic understanding of U.S. trademark and patent law.
- Candidates should have a basic understanding of Intellectual Property, contracts, NDAs and corporate documentation.
- Strong legal research and writing skills are required.
- Excellent English communication skills are required.
- Candidates should have strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Candidates must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- An interest in AI, healthcare technology, software and emerging technologies is expected.
Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Research
- Research U.S. laws, regulations and legal requirements.
- Conduct Intellectual Property research relating to AI, software, technology and branding.
- Prepare legal research summaries and reports.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments relating to AI and healthcare technology.
Intellectual Property
- Assist with U.S. trademark and patent research and registration-related processes.
- Organize and maintain legal and IP documentation.
Drafting & Contract Support
- Assist with contracts, NDAs, agreements and corporate legal documents.
Compliance & Coordination
- Support general legal and compliance activities.
- Coordinate with external U.S. legal counsel when required.
- Support legal and business operations.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience or exposure to U.S. legal research, Intellectual Property, trademarks, patents, corporate law, technology law, contract review or drafting, or legal internships will be considered an advantage.
