About the Opportunity
A leading NBFC is seeking an Area Legal Manager – Litigation & Collections to manage legal activities relating to recovery, litigation, NPA and write-off cases.
The role involves coordinating with external legal agencies and advocates, monitoring recovery-related litigation, managing legal documentation, and working with internal Collections, Credit and Business teams.
Location
The position is available in Delhi and Ahmedabad.
Salary
The offered CTC is up to ₹18 LPA.
Eligibility Criteria
- Experience in NBFC, Banking, or Financial Services.
- Strong experience in Litigation, Recovery and Collections Legal.
- Hands-on experience with NPA, Write-off and Recovery cases.
- Experience coordinating with external legal agencies and advocates.
- Good understanding of recovery laws and legal processes.
- Strong stakeholder and case management skills.
- LL.B. or LL.M. preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
Litigation Support
- Handle litigation matters arising from recovery and collection proceedings.
- Review and manage legal notices, court proceedings and recovery documentation.
- Track legal cases, hearings, orders and execution status.
Recovery & Collections
- Manage legal activities related to Recovery, NPA and Write-off cases.
- Drive effective legal recovery strategies for stressed and written-off portfolios.
- Monitor case progress and ensure timely action on recovery-related legal matters.
Case Management
- Coordinate with external legal agencies, advocates and legal partners.
- Work closely with Collections, Credit and Business teams to support recovery objectives.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal legal processes and applicable regulatory requirements.
