About the Opportunity
Advokey AI is looking for a Legal Research Intern to work with its content, product and AI teams. The intern will contribute legal research that supports the platform’s educational content and will help ensure the accuracy, depth and usability of legal material.
The role includes research on case law, statutes and legal principles, preparation of case briefs and issue notes, support for moot court materials, validation of AI-generated legal outputs and development of interactive learning content.
Location
The role is based in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, India.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students in the 3rd year or above of a 5-year law course may apply.
- Students in the 2nd year or above of a 3-year law course may apply.
- Candidates should have strong legal research and drafting skills.
- An interest in moot courts, legal writing and emerging areas of law such as AI and law, technology law and ESG is preferred.
- Prior experience in research internships, moot courts or publications is an advantage.
Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Research
- Conduct in-depth research on case law, statutes and legal principles across Indian and comparative jurisdictions.
- Stay updated on recent judgments, amendments and policy changes.
Drafting
- Prepare concise case briefs, issue notes and argument frameworks for the Advokey AI platform.
Moot Court
- Assist in designing moot court problem statements and challenge questions.
Legal Technology
- Collaborate with the AI and technology team to validate the accuracy of AI-generated legal outputs.
- Contribute to the development of legal content for technology-enabled learning.
Content Development
- Support the content team in developing material for interactive learning modules.
