About the Opportunity

Tsaaro’s Career Change Program is an intern-to-hire initiative for professionals who want to transition into data privacy and information security. The Senior Data Protection Apprentice position combines structured training, live client projects and one-to-one guidance from experienced consultants.

Participants will learn about privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA and India’s DPDP Act. The programme covers building privacy programmes, conducting risk assessments, writing policies, and developing consulting, compliance and reporting skills. Full-time conversion to a Data Protection Consultant role is based on performance.

Eligibility Criteria

• A bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Two to five years of post-qualification professional experience in any field or discipline.

• Interest in privacy, security and ethics in technology, with a willingness to learn.
• Curiosity about technology, clear communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support drafting of privacy policies, gap assessments, Data Protection Impact Assessments and compliance audits.
• Collaborate with internal teams to help clients implement privacy best practices.
• Track regulatory developments and prepare documentation and presentations.
• Learn and use tools for data discovery, risk analysis and policy review.
• Work on live client projects alongside experienced consultants.
