About the Opportunity
T.S. Gopalan & Co. is inviting applications from motivated law students for upcoming internship slots. The internship is designed to provide continuous exposure to litigation, with interns gaining practical insight into court proceedings, case preparation, drafting, client management and procedural tactics.
Interns will have the opportunity to interact directly with advocates and partners and observe proceedings across various courts and tribunals.
Duration
The internship will have a minimum duration of four weeks.
Location
The internship is based in T. Nagar, Chennai.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be pursuing a three-year or five-year LL.B.
- Candidates should be punctual and proactive.
- Candidates should be genuinely interested in pursuing litigation as a career.
Roles & Responsibilities
Litigation Support
Interns will receive daily exposure to proceedings before the Madras High Court, Labour Courts, Industrial Tribunals, DRT and DRAT.
Drafting
Interns will receive practical training in drafting pleadings, grounds of appeal and other documents.
Case Management
Interns will interact directly with advocates and partners to learn about case preparation, client management and procedural tactics.
