About the Opportunity

Sripat & Associates is inviting applications for the position of Legal Intern. The role involves providing high-level support to associates through jurisprudential research, instrument drafting, preparation of case briefs and observation of proceedings before the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad and various subordinate forums.

Students will encounter tasks that connect legal theory with active case preparation. Research assignments require attention to precedents, statutory interpretation and regulatory developments, while drafting work introduces interns to pleadings, affidavits, applications and case briefs. Observing proceedings adds a procedural dimension to the internship and complements the practice focus on litigation and dispute resolution.

Through this work, interns can develop a clearer understanding of how legal issues move from research to preparation and courtroom observation. The opportunity brings together legal theory, statutory interpretation, drafting discipline and procedural awareness in the context of litigation and dispute-resolution matters handled before the High Court and subordinate forums.

Interns will also be expected to maintain precision in written work and observe professional deadlines. The role therefore combines analytical reasoning with practical drafting and procedural observation, giving participants a structured setting in which to improve legal research, writing and case-preparation skills under the guidance of associates and senior counsel.
