Indian National Bar Association (INBA) is a professional not-for-profit Bar Association based in New Delhi, India. It was founded in 2013 by Kaviraj Singh, who serves as the Secretary General of INBA and Managing Partner of Trustman Legal Services (P) Ltd.

About the Opportunity

INBA is offering an online internship opportunity to law students and graduates for a duration of one month.

Selected interns will be required to explain statutes, legal provisions and Indian laws through contemporary blog posts intended to serve as an accessible source of legal knowledge. Interns will be required to write articles of approximately 600–700 words.

Duration

The internship will be conducted for one month, with a minimum requirement of six articles.

Mode

The internship will be conducted in online mode.

Interns may write on topics falling under the following areas:

  • Law Statutes and Bare Acts Summarized
  • Socio-Legal Issues and Current Affairs
  • Latest Amendments
  • Redundant Laws Requiring Amendment
  • Contemporary Issues
  • Legal News
  • Analysis of Legal Provisions and Explanations

Perks

Selected interns will receive a certificate upon completion of the internship.

Interns may have eight or more articles published in their name and will retain the copyright to the articles published at INBA.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Law students and law graduates can apply.
  • Candidates must submit an updated CV or resume.
  • Candidates must submit a writing sample of not more than 500 words on any contemporary legal topic.
  • Candidates must submit a copy of their Aadhaar Card.
  • Candidates must submit their College ID.

Roles & Responsibilities

Legal Research and Analysis

Interns will research statutes, provisions, amendments, contemporary legal issues and other relevant areas of Indian law.

Legal Writing

Selected interns will write articles of 600–700 words explaining legal provisions, statutes and contemporary legal developments in a manner accessible to the general public.

Content Development

Articles may cover bare acts, socio-legal issues, legal news, amendments, contemporary issues and analysis of legal provisions.
