About the Opportunity
Vohra & Vohra is hiring two candidates as Assessment Interns in the Intellectual Property Rights practice area.
The selected candidates will undergo an assessment period of three months and assist with drafting, legal research, case analysis and preparation of legal documents. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance, commitment and professional aptitude during the assessment period may be considered for a Trainee Associate or Associate position, subject to the firmβs evaluation.
Number of Positions
There are two vacancies for the Assessment Intern or Trainee Associate position.
Duration
The assessment internship will be for a duration of three months.
Practice Areas
The opportunity is focused on Intellectual Property Rights and Intellectual Property law.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must have a minimum of four months of prior internship experience in Intellectual Property law.
- Applicants should have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Applicants should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Applicants should be interested in building a career in Intellectual Property law.
Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Drafting
Selected candidates will assist with drafting Notices of Opposition, Counter-Statements, Evidence in Support of Reply, Rectification documents, notices and rejoinders.
Candidates will also draft legal memos, briefs, opinions and initial case documentation.
Legal Research
The role involves conducting comprehensive legal research on complex Intellectual Property matters using standard legal databases.
Case Analysis
Selected candidates will assist senior members of the firm with case analysis, reviewing precedents and preparing case summaries.
