About the Opportunity
Lexmanus Solutions LLP is inviting applications for a full-time Legal Associate – Fresher position. Candidates will work on legal and labour law compliance assignments, research and interpretation of applicable laws, compliance documentation, labour law registrations, audits, and client support.
The role also provides exposure to POSH, Labour Codes, employment-related compliance, litigation and court proceedings, and corporate advisory work.
Location
The position is available in Gurugram, Thane, and Mumbai. Local candidates are preferred.
Start Date
Selected candidates are expected to join within one month.
Mode
The position is full-time.
Experience
The opportunity is open to freshers and candidates with 0–1 year of experience.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must hold an LLB, BA LLB, BBA LLB, or LLM qualification.
- Freshers and candidates with 0–1 year of experience may apply.
- Candidates should have strong legal research and drafting skills.
- Applicants should have a good understanding of basic labour and employment laws.
- Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Applicants should have strong attention to detail.
- Candidates should have good MS Office skills.
- Applicants should be willing to learn and work on diverse client assignments.
- Candidates should have a genuine interest in legal and compliance consulting.
- Exposure to litigation and court proceedings, including court visits, case filing, briefing, and a basic understanding of court procedures, will be an advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities
Legal & Labour Law Compliance
- Work on legal and labour law compliance assignments.
- Assist with labour law registrations, licences, and statutory compliances.
- Support senior professionals on client assignments.
Legal Research
- Research and interpret applicable laws.
- Assist with legal and compliance-related research.
Documentation & Drafting
- Prepare and review legal and compliance documentation.
- Assist in preparing reports, notices, and other legal documents.
Compliance Audits
- Assist with compliance audits.
- Provide support on client compliance assignments.
Employment Compliance
- Gain exposure to POSH, Labour Codes, and employment-related compliances.
- Assist with employment-related legal and compliance matters.
Litigation Support
- Support litigation and court-related assignments where required.
- Exposure to court visits, case filing, briefing, and court procedures will be advantageous.
