About the Opportunity
Get My SaaS (GMS) is inviting applications for the position of Legal Intern. The internship is designed for law students who have practical experience in drafting or reviewing contracts and are interested in corporate law, technology law, and cross-border legal work.
Selected interns will assist with contract drafting and review, intellectual property assignments, open-source software licence compliance, data privacy matters, and maintenance of contract management systems.
Mode
The internship will be conducted in remote mode.
Working Hours
Interns will work from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. Sunday will be a weekly off.
Stipend
Interns will receive a stipend of ₹5,000 per month.

Eligibility Criteria
- Students pursuing the 3rd to 5th year of a law degree
- Hands-on experience in drafting or reviewing contracts
- Ability to discuss actual contract documents previously worked on
- Working understanding of contract law fundamentals
- Understanding of the distinction between IP assignment and licensing
Roles & Responsibilities
Contract Drafting
- Review and draft vendor agreements.
- Draft and review Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
- Draft contractor agreements.
- Review and draft Intellectual Property assignment agreements.
Intellectual Property
- Review IP assignment documents.
- Conduct open-source software (OSS) licence checks, including GPL, MIT, and Apache licences.
Data Privacy & Compliance
- Support cross-border legal matters.
- Assist with compliance under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act), Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Contract Management
- Maintain the organisation’s clause library.
- Update and manage the contract tracker.
