The Chambers of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sandeep Mehta, Judge, Supreme Court of India, invites applications for full-time, in-person internships on a rolling basis. The internship provides law students with an opportunity to gain practical exposure to judicial functioning and legal research within the Supreme Court of India.
The programme is offered for multiple internship slots between September and December 2026.
About the Opportunity
The Chambers of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sandeep Mehta is accepting applications for judicial internships to be conducted from September 2026 to December 2026. Selected interns will work on a full-time basis and gain practical exposure to the functioning of the Supreme Court under the guidance of the Hon’ble Judge’s Chambers.
Candidates wishing to apply for more than one internship slot must submit a separate application for each slot.
Duration
The internship is available for the following slots:
- 1 September 2026 – 30 September 2026
- 1 October 2026 – 31 October 2026
- 1 November 2026 – 30 November 2026
- 1 December 2026 – 18 December 2026
Mode
The internship will be conducted in in-person mode.
Eligibility Criteria
- Law students currently in the 4th or 5th year of a five-year integrated B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B., or equivalent programme
- Law students currently in the 3rd year of a three-year LL.B. programme

Application Procedure
Interested candidates may apply through the official application process for their preferred internship slot.
If applying for multiple internship slots, submit a separate application for each slot.
Applications must be submitted at least two weeks before the commencement of the preferred internship slot.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed through email or phone approximately two weeks before the start of the selected internship period. If no communication is received by that time, candidates should consider that their application has not been selected.
