The Asian Centre for International Arbitration and Mediation (ACIAM) is an institution dedicated to promoting arbitration, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Through its initiatives, the Centre supports research, publications, and institutional development aimed at advancing ADR practices.
ACIAM’s internship programme provides aspiring legal professionals with an opportunity to gain practical exposure to institutional ADR while contributing to the Centre’s ongoing academic and research initiatives.
About the Opportunity
ACIAM has invited applications for its Eight-Week Virtual Internship Programme. The programme is designed for law students, LL.M. candidates, and recent law graduates who have a strong interest in arbitration, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution.
Selected interns will gain practical exposure to institutional ADR and contribute to legal research, publications, and initiatives that support the growth and development of ACIAM.
Duration
The internship will be conducted for a period of two months.
Mode
The internship will be conducted in virtual mode.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students enrolled in a three-year law programme.
- Students enrolled in a five-year integrated law programme.
- LL.M. students.
- Recent law graduates.

Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Research
- Conduct legal research on issues relating to arbitration, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution.
Publications
- Assist in preparing legal publications and research-based content.
Institutional Support
- Contribute to initiatives that support the growth and development of ACIAM.
- Gain practical exposure to institutional ADR processes.
