Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, was established under the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab Act, 2006. The University is a premier institution for legal education and research and houses several specialised research centres, including the Centre for Business Laws and Taxation (CBLT).
The conference is being organised by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law Division (IBLD) under the Centre for Business Laws and Taxation (CBLT). The Division focuses on restructuring and insolvency law through academic research, professional engagement, and collaborations with institutions such as the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) and National E-Governance Services Ltd. (NeSL).
About the Opportunity
The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law Division (IBLD), Centre for Business Laws and Taxation (CBLT), RGNUL Punjab, is organising the 2nd International Conference on “Navigating the Future of Insolvency: IBC in the Age of Technology, Globalisation and Sustainable Finance.”
The conference aims to facilitate discussions on emerging issues in insolvency law, including artificial intelligence, digital assets, ESG, cross-border insolvency, preventive restructuring, and sustainable finance. The first day will feature expert panel discussions, while the second day will be dedicated to paper presentations by selected participants. Accepted papers will undergo a double-blind peer review process and may be published in a peer-reviewed edited volume or a leading law journal in collaboration with the conference partners.

The conference will be conducted over two days, on October 9–10, 2026.

The conference will be conducted in offline mode, with hybrid/online participation facilitated for international delegates.

The conference will be held at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala, Punjab.
Registration Fee
The registration fee is:
- ₹750 per participant for students and researchers.
- ₹1,000 per participant for academicians, insolvency professionals, advocates, and other stakeholders.
The registration fee is non-refundable.
