The Airports Authority of India (AAI) is a Government of India Public Sector Enterprise constituted by an Act of Parliament. It is responsible for creating, upgrading, maintaining, and managing civil aviation infrastructure across the country, both on the ground and in Indian airspace.
AAI is a Schedule ‘A’ Mini Ratna Category-I Public Sector Enterprise and conducts recruitment for various technical, managerial, and administrative positions.
About the Opportunity
The Airports Authority of India has announced recruitment for 389 posts of Managers and Junior Executives in multiple disciplines, including Law. Applications are invited through the official online portal.
For law professionals, recruitment is being conducted for the posts of Manager (Law) and Junior Executive (Law).
Number of Positions
A total of 389 vacancies have been notified.
For the Law discipline:
- Manager (Law): 2 posts
- Junior Executive (Law): 6 posts
Mode
The application process will be conducted online.
Salary
Manager (Group A – E-3 Level) will receive a pay scale of ₹60,000–1,80,000 (IDA).
Junior Executive (Group B – E-1 Level) will receive a pay scale of ₹40,000–1,40,000 (IDA).
The approximate annual CTC is:
- Manager: ₹21 lakh per annum
- Junior Executive: ₹14 lakh per annum
In addition to basic pay, selected candidates will be entitled to Dearness Allowance, HRA, perks, CPF, gratuity, social security schemes, medical benefits, and other admissible benefits as per AAI rules.

Eligibility Criteria
Manager (Law)
- Professional Degree in Law (three-year LL.B. after graduation or five-year integrated law programme).
- Candidates must be eligible for enrolment as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India.
- Minimum three years’ post-qualification work experience in the field of law.
- Maximum age: 32 years as on September 7, 2026.
Junior Executive (Law)
- Professional Degree in Law (three-year LL.B. after graduation or five-year integrated law programme).
- Candidates must be eligible for enrolment as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India.
- No prior work experience is required.
- Maximum age: 27 years as on September 7, 2026.
Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Advisory
- Perform legal functions associated with the Manager (Law) or Junior Executive (Law) position as assigned by the Airports Authority of India.
Compliance
- Support legal and regulatory compliance requirements of the organisation.
General Administration
- Undertake duties and responsibilities assigned by the Airports Authority of India in accordance with the respective post.
