NC Legal, Advocates & Solicitors is a law firm that represents individuals, corporations, and government bodies across a wide range of legal matters. The firm handles complex and high-stakes disputes, advisory mandates, and litigation matters, providing legal services across diverse practice areas.

Through its professional and client-focused approach, the firm offers young legal professionals an opportunity to gain practical exposure to real-world legal work and professional legal practice.

About the Internship

NC Legal is offering a paid internship programme for law students seeking hands-on experience in litigation and legal practice. The internship is designed to provide practical exposure to legal research, drafting, court proceedings, client interactions, and day-to-day law firm operations.

Interns will work under the supervision of experienced legal professionals and gain valuable insights into the functioning of a professional legal practice.

Duration

The internship will be for four weeks and may be extended based on performance.

Mode

This is an in-office internship.

Location

The internship is based in New Delhi.

Stipend

Selected interns will receive a stipend of ₹5,000 upon successful completion of the internship.

The stipend may be enhanced in the event of an extension based on performance.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy either of the following requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in the 4th or 5th year of a five-year integrated LL.B. programme; or
  • Currently enrolled in the 2nd year or final year of a three-year LL.B. programme.

Roles & Responsibilities

Legal Research

  • Conduct legal research on assigned matters.
  • Analyse statutes, judicial precedents, and legal developments.

Drafting & Documentation

  • Assist in drafting legal documents, notes, and case-related materials.
  • Support lawyers in preparing legal submissions and documentation.

Litigation Support

  • Assist with court-related work and case preparation.
  • Observe and support litigation proceedings where required.

Client & Matter Management

  • Assist with client-related documentation and communication.
  • Support the legal team in managing ongoing matters.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Saturday
  • 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
