About the Internship
Dock Consulting is seeking two Research Interns to support ongoing projects at the intersection of politics, governance, public policy, democracy, and international relations. The internship offers an opportunity to engage with real-world policy and political research while developing advanced analytical and writing skills.
Selected interns will contribute to country-specific studies, governance assessments, strategic policy briefs, and geopolitical analyses, working closely with research professionals on substantive policy and international affairs projects.
Duration
The internship will be for a period of 3–4 months.
Mode
This is a remote internship.
Number of Positions
Two (2) positions are available.
Stipend
Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹30,000–₹35,000 per month.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students and recent graduates with a strong interest in politics, public policy, governance, democracy, or international relations are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates should possess excellent research and analytical abilities.
- Strong writing and communication skills are essential.
- Applicants should demonstrate an interest in contemporary political and geopolitical developments.
- Ability to work independently on research-intensive assignments will be an advantage.

Policy & Political Research
- Conduct research on political systems, governance frameworks, and public policy developments.
- Analyse contemporary domestic and international political issues.
Country & Governance Analysis
- Prepare country profiles and governance assessments.
- Examine institutional, political, and regulatory developments across jurisdictions.
Strategic Briefing & Reporting
- Draft strategic briefs, policy notes, and analytical reports.
- Support the preparation of research outputs for internal and external stakeholders.
Geopolitical Assessment
- Monitor international developments and geopolitical trends.
- Contribute to comparative and cross-jurisdictional research projects.
