About the Role
The Legal Associate position is intended for candidates with experience in corporate and commercial legal practice. Selected candidates will work on transactional assignments, contract-related matters, compliance issues, advisory work, and strategic business transactions.
The role involves drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a wide range of commercial and corporate agreements. Associates may also assist with corporate structuring exercises, regulatory compliance matters, transactional documentation, and strategic business advisory support.
Candidates will be expected to work closely with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders while managing legal risks and supporting business-oriented legal solutions. The position is designed for professionals capable of handling multiple assignments within a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
The role may also provide exposure to legal work involving technology, mobility, manufacturing, electric vehicle (EV), logistics, and startup sectors depending upon client and project requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in corporate, commercial, and transactional legal work.
Applicants should have strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills. Experience relating to contracts, corporate structuring, strategic transactions, compliance, and regulatory matters will be preferred.
Candidates with prior law firm experience and/or in-house transactional exposure are encouraged to apply. Exposure to the technology, mobility, manufacturing, EV, logistics, or startup sectors will be considered an added advantage.
Responsibilities
Selected candidates will work on commercial contracts, transactional documentation, corporate advisory assignments, regulatory compliance matters, and strategic business transactions while supporting clients and internal teams on ongoing legal matters.
