About the Opportunity
NHRC is inviting applications for empanelment as Junior Research Consultants on a contractual basis. The role is intended for young professionals possessing sound research aptitude and practical understanding of human rights issues.
Selected candidates may be involved in research-oriented assignments connected with human rights law, policy analysis, governance issues, social justice concerns, institutional studies, and related thematic areas. The role is expected to provide practical exposure to research work within a national statutory institution dealing with public policy and human rights matters.
The engagement shall be governed by the terms and conditions prescribed under the Commission’s procedure and guidelines for engagement of Junior Research Consultants issued by NHRC. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates possessing an LL.B. degree or a postgraduate qualification in Social Sciences such as Political Science, Sociology, International Relations, Social Work, Human Rights, Developmental Communications, or related disciplines from a recognised university are eligible to apply.
Applicants must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination. In cases involving a large number of applications, the Commission may restrict consideration to candidates possessing higher academic scores, desirable qualifications, and relevant experience.
