About the Internship

The Chambers of Rashi Mangal is inviting applications for a long-term litigation internship at its Greater Kailash-I office in New Delhi. The internship provides exposure to litigation practice before the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, and district courts, offering practical learning opportunities in civil and commercial dispute resolution.

Selected interns are expected to assist in legal research, drafting, case preparation, and court-related work across multiple litigation forums. The internship is structured to help law students understand procedural and substantive aspects of litigation practice through direct engagement with ongoing matters handled by the chambers.

The internship is particularly suited for students interested in pursuing careers in dispute resolution, arbitration, and insolvency practice areas.

Mode of Internship

The internship will be conducted in offline mode at the chambers’ office in Greater Kailash-I, New Delhi.

Selected candidates must be available for regular in-person attendance during the internship period.

Practice Areas

Interns selected for the programme may gain exposure to the following areas:

  • Commercial disputes
  • Arbitration matters
  • Insolvency-related proceedings

Assignments may involve assistance with pleadings, case law research, documentation review, and preparation of litigation briefs depending on the requirements of ongoing matters.

Eligibility Criteria

Applications are invited primarily from final-year law students.

Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate:

  • Basic understanding of the Code of Civil Procedure
  • Familiarity with Contract Law
  • Understanding of the Transfer of Property Act
  • Prior internship experience in litigation or dispute resolution practice

Applicants must also be available for consistent in-person participation throughout the internship period.

Nature of Work

Interns will assist with legal research relating to ongoing litigation matters before higher courts and subordinate courts. Work may include preparation of case notes, drafting support, compilation of documents, and assistance in procedural filings connected with civil and commercial disputes.

Exposure to arbitration and insolvency-related matters may also be provided depending on case allocation during the internship period. The internship is designed to strengthen understanding of litigation strategy, court procedures, and documentation requirements involved in dispute resolution practice.

The structure of assignments enables interns to observe how litigation matters progress across different judicial forums and procedural stages.
