About the Pro Bono Club, NFSU Delhi Campus
The Nyaya Samvardhan – North-Western Region Pro Bono Conclave 2026 is organised by the Pro Bono Club NFSU Delhi Campus operating under the Nyaya Bandhu Pro Bono Legal Services Programme of the Department of Justice India.
The initiative supports the objectives of Article 39A of the Constitution of India, which promotes equal access to justice, and aligns with the provisions of the Legal Services Authorities Act 1987.
The Pro Bono Club conducts legal aid camps, para-legal training programmes, and collaborative initiatives with advocates and NGOs to support marginalized communities while providing experiential learning opportunities for law students.

The Nyaya Samvardhan – North-Western Region Pro Bono Conclave 2026 aims to strengthen the network of Pro Bono Clubs operating under the DISHA Scheme and promote student engagement in legal aid initiatives.

Competitions at the Conclave
The Nyaya Samvardhan – North-Western Region Pro Bono Conclave 2026 will feature several competitions designed to test advocacy, negotiation, and legal reasoning skills.
MEDIATRIX (Mediation Competition)
Participants will engage in negotiation and mediation-based dispute resolution exercises focusing on diplomacy, empathy, and structured dialogue.
CINEMANIA (Short Film Competition)
Teams will create short films highlighting legal and social issues related to access to justice and legal awareness.
RATIOCINA (Judgement Writing Competition)
Participants will draft judgments based on realistic legal scenarios to demonstrate legal reasoning and structured decision-making.
LEX COMMUNIS (Client Counselling Competition)
Teams will participate in client counselling sessions evaluating advocacy skills, problem-solving ability, and client engagement.
Best Practices of Pro Bono
Pro Bono Clubs will present their flagship initiatives and impact stories to showcase best practices in legal aid work.
Eligibility & Requirements
The Nyaya Samvardhan – North-Western Region Pro Bono Conclave 2026 is open to:
- Pro Bono Clubs and Legal Aid Cells of law institutions recognised by the Bar Council of India
- Institutions located in Northern and Western regions of India
Eligible students must:
- Be bona fide students of their respective institutions
- Be enrolled in 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated law programmes
Registration Fee
- ₹2,000 per team (without accommodation)
- Accommodation is optional and will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
