About the Internship
Lexansh & Co. is inviting applications for a Paid Law Intern specifically for their Capital Markets team. This is a long-term, 6-month internship designed to provide more than just a surface-level overview; it is a deep dive into the lifecycle of capital market transactions.
This role is an Assessment Internship, meaning high-performing interns will be evaluated for potential long-term engagement (Pre-Placement Offers) within the firm. You will move beyond basic research to assist in the drafting of offer documents, ensuring compliance with evolving SEBI norms, and conducting due diligence for corporate actions.
Role & Responsibilities
Interns will be integrated into the Capital Markets workflow, handling tasks such as:
- Regulatory Compliance: Conducting research and ensuring adherence to SEBI (ICDR), SEBI (LODR), and SEBI (SAST) Regulations.
- Drafting: Assisting in the preparation of Prospectuses, Letter of Offers, and various disclosure documents.
- Due Diligence: Helping the team conduct legal due diligence for IPOs, Rights Issues, and Private Placements.
- Corporate Actions: Researching legalities surrounding buybacks, delisting, and bonus issues under the Companies Act, 2013.
- Documentation: Managing legal checklists and proficiency in high-level legal documentation tools.

Eligibility & Requirements
The firm is looking for candidates with a specialized interest and prior foundational experience:
- Academic Level: * 5-Year LL.B.: 3rd Year onwards.
- 3-Year LL.B.: Final Year.
- Recent graduates are also eligible.
- Experience: Mandatory prior internship experience in Capital Markets or Corporate Law.
- Knowledge Base: Working knowledge of SEBI regulations and the Company Law framework is essential.
- Technical Skills: Mastery of MS Word (for complex formatting) and legal research databases.
