The Office of Shri Maddila Gurumoorthy, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), invites applications for an offline policy and parliamentary internship in New Delhi.

About the Office

The Office of Shri Maddila Gurumoorthy, Member of Parliament representing Tirupati constituency in the Lok Sabha, provides legislative, research, and policy support for parliamentary interventions, constituency development initiatives, and governance-related engagements. Parliamentary offices play a critical role in assisting Members of Parliament in fulfilling their legislative responsibilities, including participation in debates, committee work, constituency coordination, and policy evaluation.

Internships with parliamentary offices offer students direct exposure to the functioning of India’s legislative processes and the institutional mechanisms that support democratic governance. Such opportunities allow interns to observe how research inputs contribute to parliamentary questions, speeches, and legislative discussions. They also help students understand the interaction between policy formulation, public administration, and political representation at the national level.

Working closely with a Member of Parliament’s office enables interns to develop a practical understanding of how evidence-based research supports decision-making within Parliament and how governance initiatives are implemented through structured policy engagement.
