A specialized opportunity to work at the intersection of Intellectual Property, Pharma, and Regulatory Law.
About Mace Corporate Associates
Mace Corporate Associates is a boutique law firm that occupies a unique niche in the Indian legal market. The firm specializes in highly regulated sectors, specifically Drugs and Cosmetics Law, Nutraceuticals, and Drug Pricing. This expertise allows them to provide nuanced legal advice to pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, ensuring compliance with the stringent requirements of the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) and NPPA.
In addition to regulatory work, the firm maintains a robust Intellectual Property (IP) practice. They handle everything from Trademark filing and litigation to Patent FTO (Freedom to Operate) clearance. For a law student or recent graduate, interning here offers a rare look at how IP rights are protected and enforced within the life sciences and healthcare industries.
About the Intellectual Property Internship
Mace Corporate Associates is seeking an intern to join their IP Team for a paid, on-site position. This is a technical role designed for candidates who already possess a foundational understanding of the Trademark lifecycle.
Interns are expected to be hands-on with both contentious and non-contentious matters. You will move beyond simple data entry to drafting substantive legal documents such as replies to examination reports and evidence affidavits. The role also highlights a forward-thinking approach, offering an “added advantage” to those proficient in AI applications for legal research and drafting.
