About the Project: AI FOR BHARAT
Pitambara Legal Associates is spearheading a specialized research initiative titled “AI FOR BHARAT.” This project aims to bridge the gap between rapid technological evolution and the Indian legal framework. The focal point of this internship is to assist in the development of a comprehensive book that analyzes how the Indian judiciary perceives, regulates, and interacts with Artificial Intelligence.
Role & Responsibilities
As a Research Intern, you will be at the forefront of tech-law scholarship. Your tasks will include:
- Deep-Dive Research: Conducting legal and policy research specifically on AI ethics, liability, and intellectual property.
- Judicial Tracking: Monitoring the latest judgments from the Supreme Court and High Courts regarding digital evidence and algorithmic transparency.
- Legislative Monitoring: Keeping a pulse on regulatory developments such as the Digital India Act and AI-related guidelines from MeitY.
- Book Development: Assisting in drafting chapters, managing citations (Bluebook/OSCOLA), and structuring technical content for publication.
