About the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC)
The Paid Online Short Term Internship Opportunity at National Human Rights Commission 2026 is one of the most prestigious government-backed legal internship programs in India. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of India is a statutory public body constituted on 12 October 1993 under the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993. It is entrusted with the protection and promotion of human rights, defined as rights relating to life, liberty, equality, and dignity guaranteed by the Constitution and international covenants enforceable in Indian courts.
