Join a purpose-driven initiative dedicated to eradicating sexual violence through community dialogue, awareness, and legal policy advocacy.
About MAYA
MAYA is a high-impact, not-for-profit initiative that tackles the complexities of sexual violence. Having already engaged with over 2,000 children and caregivers across 40+ institutions, MAYA bridges the gap between grassroots awareness and high-level policy.
Notably, the organization actively participates in policy discourse, recently submitting critical comments to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) regarding intermediary liability for AI-facilitated sexual violence. Founded by Anjana Palamand (SLS Pune), the initiative operates with a focus on empathy, legal research, and social change.
