A great opportunity for law students to participate in one of India’s premier international moot court competitions (HIMCC) hosted by HNLU Raipur.
About the HIMCC
The 3rd Justice Hidayatullah International Moot Court Competition (HIMCC 2026) is organised by Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur, and will be conducted from March 13–15, 2026 at the university’s campus in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh. This prestigious event builds upon the success of its first two editions, further strengthening HNLU’s legacy in legal education, international competitiveness, and advocacy training.
HIMCC is named in honour of Justice Mohammad Hidayatullah, former Chief Justice of India and one of the country’s most distinguished jurists. Since its inception, the competition has grown into a highly competitive global platform, attracting premier law schools from across India and abroad.
The 2026 edition includes preliminary, quarter-final, semi-final, and final rounds, evaluated by Hon’ble Judges of the High Court of Chhattisgarh, senior advocates, law firm partners, and renowned academicians.
The moot problem for HIMCC 2026 focuses on clean energy, environmental sustainability, and climate justice, allowing students to engage with contemporary international legal challenges and contribute to meaningful discourse on law and social responsibility.
