About the Role – Associate (A1), General Litigation
The Associate (A1) role is designed for advocates looking to deepen their courtroom skills, drafting proficiency, and procedural expertise. The position involves active participation in day-to-day litigation work, including court appearances, drafting, research, and matter management.

The role requires regular physical appearances before courts and active on-ground litigation support.
Key Responsibilities
The selected Associates will be expected to:
- Make regular appearances before District Courts, Sessions Courts, High Courts, and other forums
- Draft pleadings including:
- Plaint
- Written Statements
- Applications, Replies, Rejoinders
- Affidavits
- Bail Applications
- Petitions and Written Submissions
- Assist in writ petitions, service matters, and criminal proceedings
- Conduct legal research with focus on recent judicial pronouncements and statutory developments
- Handle matter management, including filings, procedural compliance, coordination with court staff, and briefing seniors
- Provide day-to-day litigation assistance to Senior Associates and Partners
Eligibility & Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Law graduate from a recognised institution
- More than 1 year of post-qualification experience in general litigation
- Prior exposure to civil, writ, service, or criminal matters
- Strong drafting and legal research skills
- Familiarity with court procedures and filing requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced litigation environment
Joining Preference
- Immediate joining is strongly preferred
- Candidates available to join at short notice will be prioritised
