This multidisciplinary forum, titled CGCIP 2026, focuses on the evolving role of Intellectual Property in a technology-driven global landscape.

Centre for Intellectual Property Rights (CIPR), VSLLS
CIPR aims to enhance knowledge and public awareness of the IPR regime. It supports academic analysis and policy-oriented dialogue through workshops, seminars, and research initiatives, bridging the gap between theory and practical application.
Themes and Sub-Themes
CGCIP 2026 invites original research papers that examine contemporary issues in IP law within a global framework. Sub-themes include, but are not limited to:
- Theme 1: Global IP Evolution: Role of WIPO, treaties, transnational enforcement, and AI tools in combating infringement.
- Theme 2: IP as Instruments of Trade & Economic Policy: FDI, technology transfer, developmental economics, and trade conflicts.
- Theme 3: IPR and AI: Legal frameworks for AI, algorithmic accountability, ethics, and open innovation.
- Theme 4: IP in Business & Sustainability: Role for startups/SMEs, SDGs, competition law, and pharmaceutical innovation.
- Theme 5: IPR in Medicine and Public Health: Biopiracy, traditional knowledge, access to medicines, and Trade Secrets during emergencies.

Submission Guidelines
The conference is open to students, scholars, legal professionals, and technologists.
Abstract Requirements
- Word Limit: 250–300 words with five keywords.
- Content: Must outline the research problem, methodology, and key arguments.
Full Paper Requirements
- Word Limit: 3000–4000 words (excluding footnotes).
- Citation Style: Bluebook 20th Edition.
- Plagiarism: Maximum 10% permitted (including AI detector).
